SFU Campus Planning & Development is in the process of creating the SFU Burnaby 2065 Campus Master Plan, a comprehensive plan that will provide a physical vision and flexible planning and decision-making framework to guide the evolution of the campus over the next 50 years. November 13th Open House
The future of Simon Fraser University’s iconic Burnaby campus is beginning to take shape and the planning team is excited to share the emerging vision and get feedback to further refine the plan.
SFU Campus Planning & Development has been working for the past year on the SFU Burnaby 2065 Campus Master Plan. The developing blueprint will provide a planning framework to guide how the campus will look over the next half century.
On November 13th, the SFU community and other stakeholders are invited to an open house to learn about the planning to date, to ask questions and to provide feedback on the emerging directions of the draft SFU Burnaby 2065 Campus Master Plan.
Open house sessions run from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. Drop by the Saywell Hall Atrium for as long as you are able. We want to know what you think!
Campus Master Plan Interim Report
The Project Team has embarked on a six-phase planning process, initiated in early 2018 and expected to conclude in Fall 2019. The Interim Report summarizes work to date on the Campus Master Plan, and includes the following:
• An introduction to the planning process
• Summary of engagement and what we heard
• Summary analysis of the campus and context
• An emerging vision for SFU Burnaby 2065
