SFU Burnaby 2065 Campus Master Plan
SFU Campus Planning & Development is nearing the end of a process to create the SFU Burnaby 2065 Campus Master Plan, a comprehensive plan that will provide a physical vision and flexible planning and decision-making framework to guide the evolution of the campus over the next 50 years.
The Final Campus Master Plan
The final Campus Master Plan is the result of the Project Team's work over the past 2 years, providing a framework to guide the evolution of the physical campus over the next 50 years. The report has been informed by input from the SFU Community and stakeholders through every stage of the project, including a series of key stakeholder interviews and workshops, an online survey, a Design Review Panel, an Executive Steering Committee, and two public open houses. All of the feedback received through these community engagement activities has been invaluable in shaping the final draft of the Campus Master Plan, which is now being considered by SFU's administration for approval.
Read the final Campus Master Plan, or the November 13, 2019 Open House Panels which summarize the key elements of the Plan:
November 13th Open House
On November 13th, the campus community was invited to an open house to learn about the planning process, and to ask questions and provide feedback on the key elements of the draft SFU Burnaby 2065 Campus Master Plan. Over 175 participants joined our team to discuss the future of the SFU Burnaby Campus - thank you to everyone who joined us!
The feedback received during the open house and previous consultation activities has all been invaluable in supporting the development of the Campus Master Plan.
If you weren't able to join us at the open house, you can still review the Open House Panels through the link below.
